September 22, 2008

Danish modern "melodeath thrashers" PITCHBLACK, who were honored in the "Best Debut Album" category at the Danish Metal Awards, have just finished recording four new tracks with their guitarist Thomas "Pede" Pedersen at his Earplug Studios. The first track, "Burn The Flag", is now available for streaming on the band's MySpace page. The other three cuts, "The Siren Song", "All Banged Up" and "Don't Make Me Mad", will be posted soon.

The band's debut album, "Designed to Dislike", was released in Denmark on August 13, 2007 via Target Distribution. The CD was produced by Steen Mogensen (CORNERSTONE, ex-ROYAL HUNT).

The group's video for the song "Angelized" can be viewed below.

Formed in late 2002, PITCHBLACK released two demo tapes prior to recording its debut album: 2003's "No Sympathy Left" and 2004's "PitchBlack Promo 2004".
